A Little Squirrely

Tonight I got home from work around 7, and didn't get to paint until after dinner.  So I wanted to do something simple and quick.  I decided to paint my squirrel puppet, a.k.a. Squirrely, who has often accompanied me to Dickens on the Strand and who has made friends with many children there.  It wasn't quite as simple as I'd intended; it took a couple of hours.  But it's a landmark of sorts -- I think this may be the first daily painting I did "live" rather than from a photo, and I enjoyed it.  Squirrely, or his stuffed brothers and sisters, may make future appearances.  He's #6 in the 30-in-30 challenge, and measures 6x6".
