Since it's Thursday and I have my watercolor class on Thursdays, today's daily painting is a watercolor. The scene is the Pacific coast, Santa Monica Bay area, at Redondo or Hermosa Beach (according to my native Californian husband). I took the reference photo on our last trip there. We had just crossed the road and I saw this bright orange VW bus coming along with a bicyclist dogging alongside, and I frantically grabbed for the camera. Could anyone look at this picture and not think of California? This is 8x8" and #21 in the 30-in-30 challenge. Please click on the image for a larger version!
